Starting date is a departure day from Moscow, you'll arrive to Kamchatka the next day. So if the dates are from July 9 till July 21, you depart on July 9,
arrive to Kamchatka on July 10, the flight back should be booked for July 21.
Day 1
Arrival at Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky airport, meeting the group and the guide. Excursion to the Pacific Ocean shore -
black volcanic sand beach stretches to the horizon, roar of the oceanic surf and exclusive lunch with local seafood - fish and caviar.
On the way from the Ocean to the hotel we have a look at Petropavlosk city, one of the city hills
reveals nice scenery on Avachinskaya bay, "home" volcanoes and city steets. In the evening we stay in a comfortable cottage with double rooms,
supper, shower and everything needed.
Day 2
Driving to the starting point at the pass between two volcanoes - Avacha and Koryaka, stay for a night in tents.
Day 3
Avacha volcano takes the whole day. About five hours to climb and we are
on the top, 2751 meters above the sea level, the cone of regular forms ends with a big crater full of still hot solid
lava, wonderfull views of The Ocean, Avacha bay and Petropavlovsk. In the evening we are back to the cottage.
Day 4
The first day on the way to Nalychevo valley, about 17 kilometers to go throug the unusual volcanic desert, great views on
volcanoes, night in tents.
Day 5
15 more kilometers to go, leaving the desert and going through the forest with mushrooms, berries and possibility to meet a bear.
Day 6
After dinner we are on the Central Cordon of the park, where we can have rest in thermal springs, a very beutifull place.
Day 7
Free day at Nalychevo valley - swimming, excursion to the museum, hot springs, geological fields.
The Valley is reach with animals, birds, trees and different plans, berries. There are chances to see
a fox, a marmot, a suslik, a hare and a bear of course. If it happens, you'll remember this meeting for a long
time, it's very interesting and unusual to see this big wild animal in the nature, not in the cage. As a matter of fact, bears'
food is mostly fish and berry, normaly they fear of man and try to avoid meeting them. Following some simple rules about bears you'll
be safe.
Day 8
In the afternoon we leave the camp and go 10 more kilometres to reach Talovsky Cordon. There are also hot thermal springs, going deeper to
the park.
Day 9
Ascending ancient Dzendzur volcano, its crater was destroyed by catastrophic explosion many hundreds years ago. We go there without
backpacks as in the evening we return to the same camp.
Day 10
Go back to the Central Cordon.
Day 11
The first day returning back to the city. The path is going througn a nice forest and beutifull untouched places.
Day 12
